San Antonio River Walk at Christmas

Along the lush banks of the San Antonio River Walk are more than 6,000 Luminarias. Warmly glowing candles in sand-filled bags line the walkways to symbolically mark the "lighting of the way" for the Holy Family. This century’s old tradition begins at dusk. All the trees are filled with multicolored lights as well.

It was quite windy when I took this photo which gave the lights a rather odd look. This photo was taken from a bridge looking down on the River Walk.
